Do you love Star Trek and want to give back to the community?
Then this is the group for you!
The USS Endurance broke ground in Southeast Texas on August 6th, 2015. They finished their trial period in May 2016 and is a full chapter of STARFLEET International.
STARFLEET International (SFI) is the oldest and largest fan‐run Star Trek organization in existence. SFI is a not‐for profit corporation registered with the IRS and chartered in the State of North Carolina.
At the core STARFLEET International is essentially three things: a fan association, a service organization (charity efforts), and an educational association.
As of 2016, Region 3 (Texas and Louisiana) voted the Children’s Miracle Network to be the official Charity of the year for the Region. The USS Endurance also supports the South East Texas Food Bank as for their Chapter’s Official Charity of the Year.
Being part of SFI means making friends and hanging out with Trekkies from all over the world.
We attend events and social events with other Chapters in Region 3 (Texas and Louisiana). Being in SFI means there is always a fun time to be had with fellow Trekkies.
